This boy's room has bold accents in a not common color - emerald
Decorating a kid’s room is always a pleasure and a challenge: your kid needs a cozy and inviting space designed and decorated with functionality, with a cool ambience. How to combine all these points in one room in a stylish way Russian designer Elena Sedova knows how to and presents this project of a boy’s room, a perfect example of such a space.
Actually, the design itself is gender neutral as emerald color can be used both for boy’s and girl’s spaces. What makes this room boyish is various toys and souvenirs placed on the shelves.
The room is all-white and only the headboard wall is covered with emerald fabric for a bold statement. The bed is an upholstered one, and a geometric concrete nightstand makes it rougher and more boyish. On the other side of the bed there’s a small desk that doubles as a second nightstand, which saves some space.
A cool modern chair, curtains and lamps are neutrally-colored to create a balance with emerald touches. All the storage spaces are hidden behind glass panels and a large painting with houses in the shades of green. This is a nice, comfy and uncluttered space for a boy, get inspired!
