This sleek and stunning greek key design started out as a very simple white IKEA dresser. The owners painted it a gorgeous Tiffany blue but outlined it in gold. This particular dresser looks nothing like what it first started as, a $35 IKEA Rast Chest that was a light blonde wood tone with very simple, round wooden handles. Initially, it looked as if it belonged in a cabin, not a chic modern home. But, this DIY enthusiast saw through the original design, painted the drawers, stained the outside a darker wood, and added more modern handles. The result, as I’m sure you’d agree, is a gorgeous contemporary piece of furniture for under $50.{found on The Chic Line}.
These IKEA LACK tables are so light and inexpensive that homeowners have used them for a variety of purposes from side tables to coffee tables to kids play tables. They are simple in design and can easily be added to. This designer decided to adhere bamboo veneer flowers to her tables.
