Our list begins with one of the most commonly known architecture publications, Architectural Digest. The print magazine launched in California over 100 years ago and now the website does a brilliant job of keeping architects up-to-date on the newest industry standards. AD shares innovative homes, interior decorating ideas and home products. Their site also includes features on celebrity style, travel destinations and high-end real estate.

In March 2008, ArchDaily began its mission of delivering comprehensive industry information to architects around the world. Their editorial staff cultivates information from a global community of the most influential, prestigious architects and designers. Visitors can read the latest architectural news, browse a huge library of articles and find out about current architectural competitions and events. Monthly topics of interest include raw materials, climate issues, interiors and how we can all live together better in our cities and communities.

3. Dezeen Magazine

Dezeen Magazine states a simple mission: to bring its readers a carefully edited selection of the world’s best architecture, design and interiors projects. It is, however, a website that is anything but simple. Its pages are filled with a huge range of industry-specific features, including a jobs board and an event guide. Opinion pieces, podcasts, videos and interviews are also just a click away.

4. Architizer

Based in New York City, Architizer strives to provide architects with the information they need to build better buildings and better cities around the world. Featuring thousands of firms and projects, visitors can search by location or project type to find inspiration for their own work. An updated list helps industry professionals connect with trusted building supply manufacturers, for everything from acoustic ceiling tiles, to industrial bathroom fittings and furniture. Blog posts provide inspiration and advice, such as how to make your renderings stand out from the competitors’.

5. Archpaper.co

Also known as The Architect’s Newspaper, Archpaper.com brings industry professionals timely news as it relates to its niche community of architects, engineers, designers, academics, contractors, developers and others involved in the industry. Its wide menu of topics range from architecture and art to transportation and urbanism. 6. DesignBoom Magazine

With offices in Milan, Bejing and New York, DesignBoom is an independent publication that has focused on contemporary industry issues for over 20 years. It critiques every aspect of architecture technology and design, and encourages open dialogue between creative professionals, industry leaders and society as a whole. 7. Contemporist

Contemporist serves as a daily source of new products and projects for professionals in the field of contemporary design.
