Living in a small apartment shouldn’t be an inconvenient. Just because there are other much bigger spaces out there doesn’t mean you have to feel bad about your home. In fact, in highly populated areas, small apartments are the homes of the future.
They also offer a good solution for the rising costs of property by square meter. Also, when you think about it, there are lots of great designs for small spaces. In fact, here’s a great example. This apartment is located in Odessa, Ukraine. It was designed by Denis Svirid and it has a very welcoming interior.
The apartment is decorated with wood on the walls and it has lots of storage despite its reduced dimensions. There’s a mansard level which houses several individual spaces. The lack of space was used as an advantage in this project. To save money, a mansard was built instead of an extension on ground level. Some of the rooms are tiny such as the bedroom but this makes it more cozy so it’s not exactly a bad thing.
Although this is a very small home, it’s a comfortable and modern space which offers its owners everything they need. The interior design is inviting and comfortable and the décor is functional and practical. The solution you have to find when you’re lacking space actually allow you to improve the design.
