1. Start by creating your resin. For this you will need a paper cup (or a container you don’t mind ruining) and a mixing stick. I highly recommend doing this outside as the resin is pretty strong smelling. Make sure to read the instructions on your resin as each one is different. For my resin I poured equal amounts of the two liquids and stirred continuously for 2 minutes straight. I ended up with about ¼ cup total.
2. Once your resin is mixed pour it directly into your silicone mold. Let dry overnight (or per resin instructions).
3. Once your resin coasters are done curing, pop them out of the silicone mold.
4. Next, take your patterned scrapbook paper and trace around your coaster using a light pencil. Cut out the circle.
5. Taking your mod podge and a brush, dip the brush in the glue and then brush it onto the patterned side of the scrapbook paper. Cover the whole circle.
6. Firmly press the patterned circle of scrapbook paper onto the resin coaster. Let dry completely before you use.
7. You just need some resin and some scrapbook paper and you’ve got these amazing patterned coasters. Display them on your kitchen table or wrap up a set as a cute diy gift to give a friend! Let us know in the comments below if you end up make these patterned coasters and what patterns you used!
