The color of the walls in a room is very important. It can set the mood and it can dictate the theme for the entire room. But it’s very common for people to use more than one color for the walls. Accent walls are very popular and they are a way of introducing color into a room and of making the décor more dynamic. But ombre walls are also a very interesting alternative. Most people choose other options because they thing ombre walls are difficult to obtain. It’s partially true but it’s also true that the effects they create can’t be compared with anything else. Let’s take a look at a few examples.

It took around 7 hours for these ombre walls to be painted. The colors chosen are different shades of blue. To create the effects, oil-based paint and an air-based paint sprayer were used. First the lightest color was applied and then the other ones.

But you can also make ombre walls in your bathroom. You don’t necessarily have to use paint. Simply choose tiles in slightly different shades of the color you decided to use. The differences in color should be minimal.

If you want the effect to be simpler and stronger, you can simply opt for two colors. The lightest one should be used to cover the upper part of the walls and the other one for the rest. It’s not very artistic but it’s simple and easy to do.

You can do the same for the bedroom or any other room of the house. If you want the colors to change seamlessly and gradually, you should use three different shades and try to mix them as delicately as you can in the middle area.

You can also try a different approach. You can create the same effect as the classical ombre wall but use it vertically rather than horizontally. It would work nicely in a long and narrow space. You can also include the ceiling in the project.

Ombre walls would be a very nice choice for nurseries. Choose delicate, pastel colors and mix different shades to create a serene and calm interior décor. Then use contrasting colors for the rest of the room if you want to allow the walls to stand out rather than blend in.

You can also use ombre painted walls to create a more dramatic interior décor. For example, you can paint the ceiling black and then create a degradé of colors for the upper portion of the walls, including shades of dark blue until you reach white.
