Now you have a lovely arm knitted rectangle, you will need to make it a bit more cushion cover shaped! Start by putting side by side the top (on the right) and the bottom (on the left) of the rectangle of arm knitting with the knit side facing you. Using the yarn that you finished binding off with (this should be on your left), put it under and through the first V of the knitting on the right edge.

Now take the yarn and put it under and through the first V of the knitting on the left edge. Keep repeating this under and through weaving of yarn until you have woven together the edges of the knitting. Take the remaining yarn and weave the end through the purl side of the knitting to secure. Repeat to finish off another side of the cushion cover and then on the final side of the cushion cover you just need to partially join the two edges, leaving a gap in the middle that you can stuff your cushion through! Just join the top three Vs and the bottom three Vs. Leaving the four stitches in the middle as the gap to fit the cushion through.
