This is yet another interesting DIY project for you to try. It’s a fun and creative table with a lovely central compartment for plants. It’s also a simple project. The table is of small dimensions and is made of an old shipping crate and some other scraps of wood. With those materials alone you can create a lovely patio side table.
In order to be able to make this table, first you’ll have to find a shipping crate and to deconstruct it. The crate used to make the table in the pictures was about 20 x 28 x 5 inches. You’ll also need lots of screws and nails. A compartment has been created in the middle. You can easily notice it by the lighter color of the wood. In that compartment a small garden will be created.
When putting the pieces together try to hide the screws so that they won’t be visible at the end. However, for the legs it might be difficult to do that. After you finish building the table you can also paint it. You can even start another project and make a real piece of art from this table. After that problem is solved all you have to do is add the plants. Drill a couple of holes in the bottom and use a layer of gravel for drainage.{found on faroutflora}
