This small kitchen was done in an L-shape and made functional
What could be less convenient than a small kitchen Only a small kitchen with windows on two walls! It’s impossible to use them for storage, you’ll say, but no – this kitchen will prove that you are mistaken.
Originally, this kitchen was a corridor between two apartments but designer Milagros Aguera decided to turn it into a kitchen. The new design was aimed at squeezing maximum out of this space. The kitchen is L-shaped, and windows on two walls don’t prevent the space from becoming functional and comfy in using.
The kitchen doors are sliding ones to save some space, and one more smart trick was the abundance of light surfaces, which make the space look bigger. White cabinets, countertops, the hood and window frames are balanced by dark floor tiles and dark-colored wood of the chair and table. The blue geo printed wallpaper made the room look higher.
Glass lockers were hung over the cooker because the rest of the walls are taken by windows. There’s also a long shelf that goes under the window line, it helps to keep everything necessary at hand. You can see a large locker with several parts in the corner, it also hides the fridge. The kitchen island doubles as a dining table and also features much storage space.
