By now, I’m sure you already know what Pantone’s Color of the Year is for 2015. When it was first announced, Marsala collected a lot of skeptics. After Tangerine Tango in 2012, Emeraldin 2013, and Radiant Orchid last year, Marsala seems a bit…. well boring. It comes across as dull and outdated when paired against those bright colors.
What’s up with that, Pantone? However, after a bit of time to sink in, Marsala is taking over my Pinterest boards and invading my closet. Turns out that this burnt orange-y red is so rich and full and grown up, it’s just what we need to start implementing in our decorating.
