Here is the step-by-step to create your brushed or polished brass toilet paper holder.
Screw the threaded flange onto one end of your brass free standing toilet paper holder’s 3” pipe.
Screw the other end of your vintage brass toilet paper holder’s 3” pipe into the side threads of your 90 degree armback.
Screw the 6” pipe onto the top threads of your armback.
Drop your slip through flange onto the 6” pipe (for vertical installations only).
The second to last step in making your free standing brass toilet paper holder is to screw your cap onto the remaining threads of your 6” pipe.
Find a stud in your bathroom wall, and mount the beautiful brass toilet paper holder.

Finally, use a stud finder, and drill holes into the wall where you’ll place your toilet paper holder. Go ahead and install it.
To easily remove the toilet paper holder from the wall, locate the screws. To do this, remove the toilet paper. Then, once you locate the screws, use an Allen Wrench to loosen them. Pull apart and remove from wall.
If there are no set screws for your toilet paper holder, you will likely find metal tabs. To remove a toilet paper holder in this regard, you’ll have to put pressure on the tabs to release them from the wall.
Placement is everything for toilet paper holders. If you have a small bathroom, try to place it on the wall directly next to your toilet, or on the vanity closest to the toilet. The toilet paper holder should be accessible, If it feels cramped, you can always use a bruised brass standing toilet paper holder instead.
A toilet paper holder should be approximately 26” above the floor.
