Bradford Shellhammer is the founder and chief design officer of Fab.com. He lives with his partner Georgi Balinov in Sparrowbush, New York. As you may imagine, when they had to furnish their home it was a piece of cake. Since Mr. Shellhammer is always surrounded by furniture, all he had to do is pick some items and bring them home.
Their entire home was furnished with pieces found on Fab. This shows that the owner really trusts his company’s website and didn’t even hesitate to use it when it came to his own house. The 3,000 square-foot house has four bedrooms and has been decorated with modern flair and a multitude of dynamic and vibrant colors. The 1960s house is now popping with color and became a dream home for Mr. Shellhammer and his partner.
Of course, when they first bought the house, it was obvious that it needed a complete renovation. It’s where Mr. Shellhammer was able to let his talent and imagination do all the work for him. The house also got a new addition. Originally with only two bathrooms, the house now has four. Also, the unfinished basement was transformed into a games room and the bedrooms were reconfigured. The whole process was completed in 10 weeks. Not everything inside has been replaced. For example, the rosewood kitchen cabinets and the colored porcelain fixtures in the bathrooms were preserved.{found on nytimes}.
