In an attempt to bring something new to the table, literally, Thomas Bentzen has created the Around coffee table. It’s a very simple piece of furniture with a minimalist design and a modern and versatile look. It would make a nice addition to the living room and it would look best in modern and contemporary homes but it could also be adapted to a more traditional interior.
The Around coffee table was created by Danish designer Thomas Bentzer. He designed the piece in 2011 for Muuto and it starts to get popular little by little. The Around coffee table is made of plywood and solid ash. The table top has a round shape and it also features edges. The top is made of plywood, the edge from ash plywood and the legs are crafted from solid ash. The wood has been carefully cut and glued together, then polished and painted with a lacquer finish for a unique look.
The Around coffee table comes in three different models. They have similar designs but lightly different dimensions. Also, the larger version has four legs instead of just three. Each model is available in five different colors: natural wood, black, white, yellow and red. Choose the one you like best or the one that better fits your existing interior décor. The table can function great as a single unit but it can also be used in groups of two, three and more. It’s very versatile and it’s great for both private homes and public spaces.
