To call this a tiny house would be correct but also wrong at the same time. The main unit is small and definitely has the sort of interior design a tiny home would. There are however several attachments that further expand the house and as a whole this is actually a pretty spacious property. It still retains the cozy and welcoming look and feel of a small cabin. This place is part of the Lost Lake Resort in Oregon and the area surrounding the house is filled with lots of trees and greenery.
All the different sections of the house are designed in the same style and with the same materials. They feature wood-clad exterior walls and green roofs that that slope and bend extending over all the different sections and the spaces between them. The main unit, as mentioned before, has a very classic tiny house sort of design. There’s a main area on the ground floor with a small living room and kitchen, a bedroom and a small bathroom and there’s also a loft area with an additional sleeping area. It’s nice and compact without many unnecessary elements but with these big windows that let in lots of sunlight and make the interior feel bigger and brighter.
The other sections attached to the main unit serve different functions. One of them for example adds a pretty big social area that’s completely covered with a roof but isn’t an indoor space. It includes a dining area, a seating area, a kitchen and nice features such as a fireplace and a big panorama window in front of the kitchen counter that has a view of the gorgeous surroundings.
A nice patio connects this area to the main house, ensuring a close connection between all the spaces involved. The space are also unified by their design, the materials used in their decor and the rustic charm that this entire place has.
