A 100% smart home infused with high-tech features doesn’t really sound like a very cozy place to be…or does it? Actually, one has nothing to do with the other. Instead of trying to explain the underlying reasons for this affirmation we thought we’d let you find the answers yourself by analyzing a suggestive example. We’ve chosen this gorgeous home from Sofia, Bulgaria. It’s designed by All in Studio LTD and it offers a total of 316 square meters of living space.
A lot of emphasis was placed on the desire to create a comfortable and inviting home and you can best see that in the living room
A fireplace creates a very warm and welcoming ambiance and a built-in wall niche offers storage for wood
The interior design takes advantage of the high ceilings and the asymmetrically pitched roof
The house was designed to serve as a welcoming family home and city retreat and is infused with all sorts of cool and inspiring features such as eye-catching light fixtures, a stylish and modern freestanding tub in the master bathroom, parquet on the kitchen doors, stone floors and an absolutely charming girl’s bedroom decor with pendant lamps that cast shadows on the ceiling. This is, as mentioned before, a 100% smart home which means everything can be controlled via smartphone. It’s also one of the most welcoming, comfortable and sophisticated homes we’ve seen.
Special attention was given to all the materials involved in the interior design and decor of the home
Wood and stone are the primary materials which give spaces a welcoming and comfortable appearance
All the rooms are infused with modern and soft materials and textures designed to inspire comfort
Even the bathrooms look and feel comfortable and welcoming in spite of their simplicity
The interior design is modern and sophisticated but also very focused on the inhabitants and their lifestyle
A large walk-in closet features an entire wall of mirrors and this makes it seem larger than it actually is
Long fabric curtains and a black ceiling give this corner dining area a very intimate and cozy look
Every lighting fixture was carefully chosen for the specific room and decor that it’s a part of
Surprisingly, the dark color scheme doesn’t make the room feel small or gloomy and that has a lot to do with the accent lighting
Long curtains and large mirrors make this bathroom appear large and very comfortable-looking
