Cut off the cord of the phone and unscrew the part that you talk into. Take out the microphone and drill a centered hole. Spray paint the pieces and then position the phone onto the piece of metal. You can also use toys and figurines to make some really nice bookends. You can glue them to flat rocks or to wooden blocks and if you want you can also paint the toys and the base as well. Cut the sheet to make rectangular pieces. Sand them down and paint the pieces. Then put the pieces together. You can personalize them and paint all sorts of things on them. If you want a rally sturdy bookend then you could make a concrete one. Find a container that you can use and then fill it with concrete. You can coat the inside with some oil so you don’t have to break the container. Let it dry and then remove it. Another very nice idea is to make bookends out of rocks. You just need some large rocks, metallic gold spray paint, small cork adhesive pads and some free time.
