It’s true that this is the most common options but there are also other things to choose from. For example, black and white tiles are a classical detail that always looks good. The same goes for checkered linoleum, even though this option is a little more difficult to match with other decors.

2. Cozy fireplace.

Fireplaces are always a beautiful detail. A fireplace in the kitchen would a great starting point for a farmhouse-style décor. It instantly creates a warm and inviting atmosphere and this is what this style is all about. It will be a lovely gathering spot even if you don’t have a working fireplace. 3. Large dining table.

5. Vintage accent features.

Small details are just as important as in any other case. So opt for vintage and old-fashioned elements such as pottery, rustic and antique hardware or vintage lighting. A beautiful chandelier or pendant lamp could really make the difference between an old kitchen and a stylish farmhouse kitchen.
