Changing seasons not only calls for a change in decor and the temperature of our morning coffee. It also means a change in the kinds of crafts and DIYs we look for. It’s time to move from flamingoes and banana leaves and pineapples to pumpkins and acorns and feathers. And if you can squeeze in a leather DIY, bonus points for you! Scroll through these 20 fall crafts that you can do this weekend and have your house autumn ready by Monday.

Banners are the easiest way to spruce up a bare wall space. This project uses a wooden banner that will be easy to store away come winter. You can paint it like the project dictates… or go your own way with felt, fabric or even chalkboard paint! (via The Crafted Sparrow)

Before you scroll by thinking “I could never make that,” listen for half a second. I’m sure you’ve seen the little trinket dishes shaped like leaves and pumpkins and ghosts. The goal is to use one of those and paint it a shimmering gold that will bring class to your coffee table or dresser. (via The Casual Craftlete)
