A creative person with lots of imagination always has great ideas of how to repurpose items or how to improve certain designs and decors. It’s all about thinking outside the box and being able to see the potential in something as simple as a spoon or a piece of rope. In case you need some inspiration for that, we have made a selection of some wonderful upcycling projects.
Let’s start with something easy. Let’s say you have some rope somewhere in your house but don’t know what to do with it. What you could do is dye and then wrap it around a vase or any other similar object. You can easily determine the amount of rope you’ll need by test wrapping. You can alternate colors or go for a simple look.{found ondelightfullynoted}.
A home should have personality and for that you have to be creative. Here’s a nice example for the bedroom. You can use two or three old suitcases to make a nice nightstand. Just stack them on top of each other and put a beveled mirror on top. You could adapt the project to your own resources and ideas as well.{found on cupcakesandcashmere}.
These cute mini-garden corks are just lovely. It’s a wonderful example of how interesting a simple and useless thing as a wine cork can become. You can draw a pattern on the corks or put labels on them if you want. To turn them into these tiny planters you just have to make a small hole at the top and fill it with soil and mini plants.{found on etsy}.
This is another very creative project. It’s a coat rack and you can see that the hooks are made from spoons. You can use recycled wood boards to make the rack and then some old teaspoons for the hooks. It’s a great piece for the entryway, wonderful for hanging keys, hats, coats, etc. Also, notice that each hook is personalized.{found on etsy}.

You just have to find some tree branches and arrange them more or less parallel inside the frame. Then mount it on the wall and display your necklaces nice and untangled.{found on createdbystorm}.
And we’re back to Mason jars. We have two more wonderful projects featuring these very versatile items. This first project is actually not about the jars but about the labels.
