This beautiful apartment belongs to interior designer Alberto Pinto. It’s located in Rio de Janeiro and it’s like a stylish mini-version of Brazil. The apartment features earthy textures and vivid colors. This is the look that the apartment got after it was remodeled. For this, the designer worked with Thiago Bernardes of Bernardes + Jacobsen, a Brazilian architecture firm with a tropical-modernist approach.
Since the views from the apartment were so beautiful, the exterior walls of the living room had to be knocked down.
They were replaced with floor-to ceiling sliding glass doors. This way the views are not obstructed by anything and It’s also easier to access the terrace. The panoramic views over the Atlantic and wonderful and they are visible right from the entrance. Moreover, there’s also the 33-foot long terrace from where both the Atlantic and the Cagarras archipelago are visible. The terrace is decorated with white, purple, yellow and orange orchids.
Also during the remodel, the living room became bigger. It currently includes not one but two seating areas. They both feature comfortable sofas, stylish 1950s Italian armchairs and elegant coffee tables. An open staircase then leads to the second floor. Here the private areas are located. Overall, the apartment is very beautiful. It’s minimalist and elegant and the colors are always in balance. The furniture is mostly neutral but there are touches of color here and there. The colorful artwork completed the whole image.{found on ad}.
