Usually it’s not the clothes that pose problems in closets but the accessories. You can’t just throw them all in a drawer and then spend 5 minutes looking for a certain item each time you need it. You have to be organized and to put everything in its designated space. Today we’re going to focus on ways in which you can store your belts. Here are a few ideas.

For girls.

A very simple system you can use is a drawer with multiple compartments. You can roll the belts and out each one in a different compartment. This way they are all beautifully arranged and you can just pick the one you want. If you don’t have compartments you can still use the same system but you would have to be more careful not to mix everything up and make the drawer look messy.

For gentlemen’s.

Since gentlemen usually have just two types of accessories, ties and belts, it could be a good idea to create a storage system for both. You could have a drawer with compartments where you can put your belts and your ties or you could have separate storage systems for each one. Keeping them in drawers is very practical. They are all lined up and beautifully organized and they don’t take much space either.

Hangers.

Another option would be to use hangers. You can just hang a belt by a hook and this way it will stay straight in case this is an issue for you. This system is also practical because it’s more space-saving. You can just put all your belts on a single hanger and use the drawer for something else. You can hang them in the closet by your suits. The only disadvantage is that you’ll always have to browse through and to find the one you need.
