This two-level modern home office is a sustainable project that was prefabricated by five design-build students in a graduate architecture class at Academy of Art University in San Francisco. It has two levels and is located in a client’s yard. Inside, the home office features a customized desk, storage and shelving system, as well as a lounge area for the clients and the family. The entire project was an exercise in sustainability. The waste was reduced to approximately an inch for every 12 feet of materials used.
