Accent walls of any kind are a hot trend in design and decorating. These easy and stylish color accents will always be popular because of their flexibility. Such walls can be used in all kinds of rooms and can be made in various ways: with paint, wallpaper, stencils, wall art, pictures and so on.
When choosing a way to accent, think outside the box and don’t be shy, use bold colors if you want. Take into account the color on your other walls. Most accent walls look best when they adjoin walls in a light to medium shade. The contrast of a bright accent wall against white walls can look very modern and even stark. Balance your strong accent wall color with neutral wall colors on the other walls. Your neutral walls can be gray or beige, whatever works best with your accent color.
If you are renting, keep it in mind while choosing the best way to accent the wall. The best ideas to change a wall is wallpaper, stickers, pictures or a wall art that can be easily removed in case the owners want it.
Today I’d like to tell you of a unique finish to try, a real way to think outside the box. Turn a plain wall into an on-trend feature wall with your favorite designer fabric. Such a wall can be completed in just a few hours and, unlike wallpaper, can simply be peeled off when you’re ready for a change. Another advantage of a fabric accent wall is that if you choose upholstery, it’ll bring good sound-proofing features. rough fabric texture on the headboard wall spruces up a laconic bedroom

There are two basic methods for attaching fabric to walls: adhesive and mechanical. The former means applying liquid starch onto the wall with a roller and essentially pasting up the fabric and smoothing it as if it were wallpaper. The mechanical method consists of “framing” the perimeter of each wall with a tacking strip such as lath that has been affixed into the studs, and then tacking or stapling the fabric onto the strips.
Fabric Accent Walls
Fabric accent walls will give a chic, comfy and cozy look to any room, from a bedroom to a kids’ room. Choose fabric you like and attach it to the wall you’ve chosen, usually it’s a headboard wall but you can try any other, too. If you like bold décor or want to add a colorful touch to the space, make a patchwork wall of fabric remnants that you have. Try various treatments for the edges of the fabric: hidden staples covered with upholstery gimp, trim, or ribbon; or decorative tack heads left exposed. framed burlap decorated with nails for the headboard wall

Upholstered Accent Walls
Upholstered and padded accent walls look even more luxurious. Here you put some stuffing inside to make the wall stand out a bit. The most popular option is making diamond upholstery walls in some chic fabric like velvet or silk. Upholstered walls give more sound-proofing than usual fabric ones, and they look really eye-catching. I also love the idea of upholstering with leather and decorating with nails, such walls make every room more modern and original. luxury upholstered panels in soft beige color
